Weisman-Pederson Non-Conductive Vaginal Speculum

Weisman-Pederson Non-Conductive Vaginal Speculum is designed to aid in the visualization and procedural access of the vaginal canal. Insulated instruments feature a smooth, durable, non-conductive nylon coating for LEEP, LLETZ and other electrosurgical OB/GYN procedures. The blue nylon resists abrasion and provides excellent insulation.

Weisman-Pederson blades like those on the standard Pederson, but open on one side (either right or left opening). The open side allows the speculum to be easily removed over a catheter or other device (such as a hysterosalpingography catheter) that has been inserted into the uterus. It also allows for easier insertion of other needed instruments into the vaginal canal.
